About this file
This document contains a safety data sheet and related federal contract opportunity notice. The safety data sheet provides hazard and handling information for an inert molding powder product containing barium nitrate, pentaerythritol, and other components. It specifies personal protective equipment requirements and disposal procedures.
The federal contract opportunity notice indicates the Army intends to issue a request for proposal for various grenade and fuze products. It will result in multiple-award, firm-fixed price IDIQ contracts for a five-year period. The solicitation is restricted to U.S., Canadian, and outlying area contractors. The response date will be specified in the solicitation, which is planned for issuance on June 1, 2020. Technical data packages for the products are classified and available through the Joint Certification Office.
