About this file
This document contains a presolicitation notice for a consolidated grenade requirement. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue a request for proposal on or about June 1, 2020 for the following grenade items: offensive hand grenade XM111, practice offensive hand grenade body XM112, fragmentation hand grenade M67, fuzes M201A1, M201A1 Mod 3, M208, M228, and M213. The requirement will result in a multiple award, five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with five ordering periods. Awards will be made using a best value tradeoff approach, with the government reserving the right to make a single award if only one offeror is qualified. Technical data packages for the grenade items are classified and their export is restricted. Offerors must be registered with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office to obtain the technical data packages. The presolicitation notice provides details on the industry day, response date, estimated solicitation issue date, and instructions for accessing the solicitation electronically via beta.sam.gov.
