About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement Annex that outlines the Maintenance Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) for equipment repair and maintenance services at Fort Benning, Georgia. The document specifies performance standards, sampling methods, and acceptable quality levels (AQL) across six major service categories.

The materiel maintenance requirements encompass establishing and operating equipment repair shops with a 95% AQL standard, performing technical inspections of all in-process and completed work orders, and conducting repairs in accordance with Army Regulation 750-1 and applicable technical manuals. Repair work must meet specific rejection rate thresholds, with 97% AQL for mechanical repairs and 98% AQL for electrical repairs on equipment deemed ready for issue. Supporting maintenance services include air conditioning and refrigeration work compliant with 40 CFR Part 82, tire and rim maintenance per TM 9-2610-200-14, wheel alignment, glass repair, and sensitive item maintenance requiring 100% AQL with monthly surveillance. The allied trades section covers welding and non-destructive testing performed by AWS-certified welders and ANSI/ASNT CP-189 certified personnel, metal machining and fabrication, painting operations compliant with OSHA and Army standards, body repair, and carpentry services—all with 95% AQL standards. Additional requirements include shop supply services utilizing the Army's automated supply system (95% AQL), standard pricing item management (95% AQL), and production control operations managing maintenance workload through multiple equipment receiving points with 95% AQL. Most inspections employ random sampling of in-process and completed work conducted on a periodic shop schedule, while sensitive items and small arms repair parts require monthly 100% AQL surveillance.
