Questions & Answers W50S8Q-20-B-0004 ADAL CE, Bldgs 151 & 119
Q1. Per the drawing Sheet A-104, note A-12 calls for R-30 5” minimum. The spec section 07 22 00 par. 2.1.4 calls for ¼” per ft Tapered insulation & ½” crickets. Looking at the roof at the sight visit, it seems the taper may be in the structure. Are there as-built drawings to check this? (Structural drawings.)
A1. Arch – Confirmed that roof deck contains slope of roof. Please meet requirements of roof insulation at R-30 min. ½” crickets required at roof equipment, penetrations, parapets where needed to provide proper slope for drainage.
Q2. Keynotes on Sheet A-104 Missing notes A-13, A-14, A-32, A-35?
A2. Seems to be a printing error, our print copy shows these keynotes. Attached A-104 for reference.
