New York Air National Guard Modified: 14 June 2022
WKVB122004 – Repair Maintenance Hangar, Building 358
ADDENDUM #1 – CONTRACT OPTION
PROVIDE TEMPORARY RELOCATABLE FACILITIES
The Contractor shall provide separate temporary facilities (mobile office trailers) for the Government’s use as swing space during construction. The Contractor will be responsible for all costs related to operations, maintenance, delivery and removal, installation, and demolition of the temporary facilities under the purview of this contract. The Contractor shall incorporate these projected costs into the bid offered.
The Government will identify the desired location of the temporary facilities but the Contractor will be responsible for any grading or site preparation as required to install the assets. The Contractor will remove the temporary facilities at the end of the project and return the site to prior condition. The facilities shall present a clean and neat exterior appearance and be in a state of good repair.
The Government requires 2,300 SF of usable temporary space for this requirement. The Contractor should minimize the amount of facilities necessary to meet this requirement. The Contractor will submit proposed products to the Government for review and acceptance.
The temporary facility or facilities must have:
1. Built‐in gender‐neutral bathroom with minimum, toilet and sink.
2. HVAC system to provide cooling and heating.
3. Access through steps and ramps, compliant with all OSHA and Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) requirements.
4. All utility service required for operation. Temporary facilities will be constructed to be completely self‐sufficient from the base utility network. Contractor must provide power, water supply, and sanitary containment. Contractor is responsible for continued power and water supply and responsible for removal and proper disposal of sanitary wastes.
5. Anchors to secure the temporary facilities to the ground at all four corners to guard against movement during high winds.
6. Sufficient interior overhead lighting to provide 500 lumens per square meter. Outdoor safety lighting at all entry and egress points.
7. Convenience GFCI electrical outlets compliant with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and rated at 120V/60Hz. There should be sufficient convenience outlets to allow for configuration of office furniture and computer usage. Electrical load capacity should be sufficient to handle typical office usage (computers, printers) and HVAC requirements based on the Contractor’s proposed solution.
8. Lightning protection system and appropriate grounding.
