Text version
Please consider the following additional RFIs regarding your proposed project:
1) Can you consider extending the bid another 1‐2 weeks?
Extended per contracting
2) Can we have all the tank measurements from your supplier?
Please see attached tank specs
3) Will you need us (the Contractor) to off‐load the tanks?
Yes
4) How are you approaching the canopy and associated footings? The PWS mentions that the canopy cannot be approved without the tanks first being installed. If that means the canopy submittal and subsequent orders cannot be approved until the tanks are installed, this has a significant impact on overall schedule, and it also impacts the installation and size of the concrete tank mat.
The PWS has been revised to state “canopy cannot be installed without the tanks first being installed”.
5) Please provide the spec for the fuel management system.
Specifications attached (FM‐010_FMU_Installation_Manual(052413).pdf)
6) Please provide the spec for the Veeder‐Root tank monitoring system.
Contractor to replace current RONAN automatic tank gauging with 2 each, one‐inch conduit with pull strings, prepped and capped to building 208. A separate DLA Contractor will be handling the rest to furnish and install the Veeder‐Root Tank monitoring system.
7) Who will furnish and install the Veeder‐Root tank monitoring system?
Please refer to response #6 above
