Queson 2:

Are there any exisng security that is required to be bypassed and/or reinstated.

No. There isn’t a security/alarm system associated within the work area; however, there should be a phased construcon to provide separaon between proposed construcon within 1002A and exisng Headquarters Offices.

Quesons 3:

To verify our Demolion scope does not interfere with ongoing operaons are there as build drawings to verify ulity lines. Addionally verify exisng condions of the building. Verify if building will be occupied during construcon.

The exisng facility was constructed in five phases, including 3 separate buildings and two in-fill structures, then a roof over all buildings tying them together. Each building poron was constructed with its own separate ulies. The Government has provided Jacobs with several incomplete As-Built drawings for different phases of construcon which may be shared.

The Headquarters Building 1002A and Dining Hall 1002C are occupied and will remain operaonal during renovaon of 1002B.

Quesons 4:

We request the FFE package for the furnishings of the space. Will this be a part of the construcon contract?

The FFE is included in the contract. Some of the furnishings and equipment were removed from the previously occupied facility by Govt. and will be (Provided by Govt. and Installed by Contr.) other select equipment will be (provided by Govt. and Installed by Govt.). Other Furnishings and equipment will be (provided by Contr. And installed by Contr.).

Queson 5:

Clarify any roofing in the scope of work.

The standing seam metal roofing is exisng. There will be limited re-work of the standing seam metal roofing as required to patch removed and or relocated mechanical and plumbing penetraons.

The metal canopy out front and drive thru canopy out back are exisng to remain. There is no scope for renovang any of the canopies; however, there is scope to repair select areas of damaged and/or deteriorated EIFS fascia associated with the canopy out front.

Quesons 6:

For the Exisng transformer and transformer can we leave the exisng conduit in place.

We recommend you provide new conduit. The locaon of the new Electrical room is different than the exisng electrical room locaon. We don’t know the condion of the exisng conduit either.

Yes, the outlet jacks shown on the outlet details are correct.

Questions 62:

The rack layout on T-201 only shows 6 patch panels for data. By my count you will need (10) Cat.6 and (1) Cat.6a patch panels. I don’t believe there is adequate space in the 2 racks to accommodate that number of panels using the layout as shown.

a. This isn’t a queson, so I must assume the queson and respond. I reviewed the drawing and agree that approx. 10 PP are necessary and the rack layout would have the be revised. I am assuming that the space is the 3rd rack is available for addional PPs and that the contractor would submit shop drawings that show that.

b. Jacobs Assumpon: Provide the quanty of patch panels are required by the quanty of data cables. Submital shop drawings are required to show revised layouts in the rack to support any addional patch panels that might be necessary.

Yes, separate cables are acceptable, unless the fill rao in the OSP conduit is exceeded.

Questions 65:

Will every Voice & Data wall workstaon be piped to the cable tray?

Yes, conduit is run from the wall outlet to the cable tray. Reference detail D1/T-504.

Questions 66:
