INDUSTRY DAY AND ONE-ON-ONE DISCUSSIONS

1.0 Background

1.1 One purpose of tactical MR is to obtain specific and detailed information that will enable the government to identify potential vendors and their associated capability to meet performance parameters. In order for interested vendors to determine if they are reasonably qualified, it is critical for vendors to have a sound understanding of the requirement. The purpose of the industry day is for the government to expound on the requirements and give vendors an opportunity to ask questions to ensure vendors have the knowledge required to then submit a capability statement as outlined in Attachment 7.

1.2 The responses are for the follow-on acquisition team’s internal use only, and will support its market research efforts in preparation for development of the acquisition strategy. The responses may be cited in the market research report, incorporated into the acquisition strategy, or incorporated into any request(s) for proposal issued; your response will not be published on SAM.gov or shared with other industry parties. The follow-on acquisition team will not provide any feedback on your response; although a member of the acquisition team may contact you if the MDA has questions regarding your response.

2.0 Overview of Industry Days

2.1 September 27, 2022 – In-person briefings and tours at the MDIOC located on Schriever Space Force Base.

• A “listen only” audio connection will be sent to all interested parties prior to the presentation. This audio number will be provided to all vendors who answer in the affirmative in the questions below.

• A copy of the briefings will be made available in advance to all interested parties.

• Each vendor will be restricted to two-personnel to participate in-person. This restriction may be relaxed or tightened based on the number of requests that are submitted. The government reserves the right to change this number based on the size of the company.

28 – 30 September: In-person one-on-one discussions between interested vendors .and the members of the government acquisition team to be held at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, CPO 80907

• This is an opportunity for vendors to ask questions about the requirements

• The acquisition team will not have prepared remarks.

• Virtual one-on-one discussions can also be requested (reference questions below) and will be scheduled on or around this week.

• Expected questions should be submitted in advance (reference attachment 3) to ensure there can be proper government representation at the discussions.

• The time limit for these discussions will not be established until the number of interested vendors is known
