About this file

This solicitation is for the construction of a new three-story academic classroom building for the Shape International Schools facility in Belgium. The 5,500 square meter building will replace existing facilities and include administrative offices, classrooms, an information center, mechanical and utility rooms, halls, computer network areas, storage rooms, and other required spaces for a fully functional school. Site improvements such as playgrounds, exterior lighting, recreation areas, signage, fencing, paving and landscaping are also included. Related infrastructure for water, gas, sewer, storm drainage and electrical service will be constructed. The design will be compatible with existing architecture using brick, metal panels and standing seam metal roofs. The structure will be cast-in-place concrete with concrete block interior walls and a flat green roof. Interested vendors must submit an SF 550 by 8 March 2024 in order to attend the scheduled site visit on 20 March 2024 at 1300 CET. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $10-25 million. The acceptance and turn-over must be integrated with the academic calendar of the Shape International Schools.
