1. Desktop Printers Black/White & Color with CAC authentication capability: The piece of hardware used for printing documents in a personal office or small business, often referred to as a laser printer. It is a smaller, more compact, low-high volume printer that prints in small offices or small print shops. A desktop printer usually fits on a desk or table. The floor models are used for the same type of printing — documents on paper or transparencies — but are more heavy-duty and built for high volume usage. It referred to as an office printer and network printer but works in much the same way as comparable personal desktop printer models. The typical desktop printer is a laser printer used for personal printing by an individual or just a handful of workers in a Small office environment.
