About this file

This document is an amendment to Solicitation SP3300-24-R-5003 for Distribution and Warehousing Services at DLA Distribution Cherry Point, NC. The amendment provides responses to two offeror questions. The first response clarifies that the labor categories and descriptions in the solicitation are the same regardless of the system utilized, and that offerors can propose different labor categories as long as they align with the work outlined. The second response states that the only "crosswalk" between the DSS and WMS systems is the TE 2.1.1 document, and that Transportation is the only functional area operating under both systems. The amendment also includes three attachments: the SAP WMS Role Request and Log-on Job Aid, the TE 2.1.1 WMS To DSS Crosswalk, and the Applicable DSS Roles PowerPoint. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.

Amendment 0007

1. The purpose of this amendment is to answer offeror questions:

Offeror question 1: We request a detailed listing of roles and responsibilities for each position within both the DSS and WMS systems.

Answer 1: Labor categories and descriptions provided in the J.1 section C-1.3 would be the same regardless of the system utilized. Keep in mind, the roles within section C-1.3.2 states that “this approach does not prohibit the Contractor from using different labor categories…The Contractor shall ensure their proposed labor categories align with the work outline in their proposal”. When defining Roles and Responsibilities, each system requires different systemic “roles”. The SAP WMS Role Request and Log-on Job Aid detail the roles within WMS that are required depending on the responsibility the employee has.

Offeror question 2: We request a definitive crosswalk that outlines the correlation and differences between the roles and responsibilities of corresponding positions in DSS and

WMS.

Answer 2: Labor categories provided in the J.1 section C-1.3 would be the same regardless of systems utilized. The only “crosswalk” between the two systems is TE 2.1.1 which is focused more on terminology. Transportation is the only functional area operating under both WMS and DSS. The document titled “Applicable DSS Roles” defines the roles that may be required to perform transportation functions in DSS. Other functional areas within this document (i.e.

warehousing, inventory etc) are not applicable to this solicitation.

2. Attachment 1 is the SAP WMS Role Request and Log-on Job Aid, Attachment 2 is TE

2.1.1 WMS To DSS Crosswalk, and Attachment 3 is the Applicable DSS Roles PowerPoint.

3. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
