XRF Lead Evaluation
Date: 09 June 2017 Subject: Field Analysis for Suspect Lead Paint Bulk Sample Collected from the DLASJ Tracy, Building 201
Evaluation
On 09 June 2017, field testing for the presence of Lead was performed on the primary structural coatings (paints) identified on the surfaces of the building materials at the DLASJ, Tracy, Building 201. Robert Miller, Certified Industrial Hygienist, performed the field sample analysis utilizing a handheld Innov-X Systems, Alpha Series, X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) Spectrometer. Prior to this sampling event the calibration of the XRF instrument was verified by performing an analysis of a National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), Reference Material. The field testing data for Building 201 is provided in Table 1 of this report.
