About this file
This document is a Data Item Description (DID) for an Open Systems Management Plan (OSMP) with the DID number DI-MGMT-82099, associated with the LASSO (Low Altitude Stalking and Striking Ordnance) system. The OSMP describes the developer's Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) implementation, including plans for a modular, open architecture that covers open standards, data models, tools, configuration item management, design documentation, technology insertion, and life cycle sustainability.
The document outlines specific submission requirements, including that the draft OSMP is due at PAAC (Milestone 1) with updates to support System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) milestones. The vendor must submit the OSMP in a format compatible with Windows and Microsoft Office 2016 products, and it must contain Distribution Statement D, limiting distribution to Department of Defense and U.S. DoD Vendors. The government will have 15 business days to review the document and provide comments, with the contractor required to resubmit updated versions within 10 business days if comments or disapproval are received.
