RRB17R0006 – ATTACHMENT F

U. S. Railroad Retirement Board Snow Removal And Quality Requirements

1. Services To Be Performed As Required To Maintain Quality Standards.

A. Remove snow and ice completely from all entrances, sidewalks on all four sides of the facility, driveways and approaches 24 hours /day. Monday thru Sunday. (Weekends only if necessary)

B. The snow will be moved to the edge of the sidewalks by the street. Walkways including curb cuts and street corner handicapped cuts, and entrances will be cleared of snow and ice at all times as stated above.

C. Manually removing snow and ice (including use of snow-blower) from the building entrances and sidewalks is included in the monthly contract price for basic services.

D. The contractor shall furnish the COR with a list of telephone numbers where either he or his authorized representatives may be contacted 7 days per week at any hour of the day or night to provide required services.

E. Chemicals and/or sand shall be used to reduce safety hazards due to ice and snow. Contractor shall be held responsible for all damage to grounds and landscape caused by the application of chemicals for ice and snow removal.

F. The Contractor will keep an adequate supply of chemicals and /or sand on the premises.

Note: The offeror must provide a complete and detailed snow and ice removal plan with the technical proposal describing equipment, resources, (including specifically who they intend to use) and detailed methodology including snow removal responsibilities and coordination. Include also a discussion of snow and ice removal procedures and how tasks will be carried out. Include also a discussion of custodial support and supplemental support as well as tracking information (hours worked and equipment involved) to be provided to the COR.
