RRB17R0006 - ATTACHMENT D – OPTIONAL SERVICES: TRASH OR SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AND REMOVAL
REQUIREMENTS
1. EXTENT OF WORK: Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, and supervision to provide solid waste disposal and/or removal services as outlined herein. Overflow of trash from containers shall be picked up from the floor of the area used to collect the solid waste. Contractor must continue, but are not limited to, provide same services as current contractor. These services include furnishing a specially sealed compactor container for storage of restaurant and food service waste. Contractor must also provide waste hauling services for all first floor commercial tenants. This will require the tracking and billing of these tenants for waste hauling services directly.

2. NUMBER OF CONTAINERS REQUIRED AND PICKUP SCHEDULE:
NUMBER COMPACTOR CONTAINERS: 1 (RRB PROPERTY)
CAPACITY OF CONTAINERS: 30 CUBIC YARDS
COMPACTOR PICK UP SCHEDULE: Three per week between 8:00 am. And 8:00 pm.
3. CART REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall furnish individual dump-type carts for solid waste storage with capacities as provided in the contract requirements. All containers shall be noncombustible or flame resistant equipped with rubber coated wheels.
4. CART LOCATION: Basement west of freight elevator. Compactor container located at the rear loading dock provided by Contractor.
5. CONTAINER MAINTENANACE: The Contractor shall wash and deodorize each container and cart as necessary. Contractor shall also maintain deodorizer at proper levels for deodorizing the compactor container at the dock area.
6. DISPOSAL FACILITY:
( a.) All solid waste from the compactor container shall be disposed of only through a solid waste disposal facility that has been certified by the appropriate state agency responsible for waste, waste management, or by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
( b.) All other solid waste collected shall be removed from the premises and transported to a processing facility for the purpose of recycling.
