About this file
This document is a Revised Attachment 2: Fixed Price Bid Form for Valencia College, issued as ITB-F 2025-07 for Walkway and Canopy Repair and Replacement at the East Campus. The project involves repairing and replacing covered walkways and canopies located at 701 N. Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando, Florida, with work to be performed during the period of July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. Only pre-qualified General Contractors with a single project certification over $475,000 are eligible to bid, and the contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and services to complete the repairs and replacements according to specified plans and specifications.
The bid form requires contractors to submit an all-inclusive total price that covers all labor, materials, supplies, taxes, delivery costs, and project-related expenses, with a notable exception that permitting and inspection fees for building and fire code compliance will be paid separately by the College through PDCS (the College's permitting and code compliance authority). The fixed price bid form allows bidders to provide a comprehensive quote, including a project schedule and detailed breakdown, with the expectation that the selected contractor will bind their company to supply services in accordance with all specified terms and conditions.
