About this file

The file is a Travel Expense Report template (Appendix A) for documenting contractor travel expenses on a federal contract. The template provides a comprehensive breakdown of reimbursable travel-related expenses, including air fare, ground transportation, vehicle mileage, meals, lodging, and miscellaneous costs. Key requirements include submission of receipts for lodging, airline tickets, and car rentals, with reimbursement rates governed by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 31.205-46, which sets maximum rates for per diem allowances based on travel location. The form requires detailed documentation such as task order number, contractor name, travel dates, and specific expense categories, with spaces for both contractor and contracting officer electronic signatures to validate the expense report.
