About this file
This is a Nonsegregated Facilities Certification document required by the Kenton County Airport Board for the 2026 Fall Protection Systems Installation project at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The certification requires bidders to attest that they do not maintain or provide segregated facilities for employees at any of their establishments and will not permit employees to perform services at locations under their control where segregated facilities are maintained. The document defines segregated facilities to include waiting rooms, work areas, restrooms, restaurants, time clocks, locker rooms, transportation, and housing facilities that are segregated by explicit directive or in fact on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders must obtain identical certifications from proposed subcontractors for subcontracts exceeding $10,000 that are not exempt from Equal Opportunity Clause provisions and must retain these certifications in their files. The certification must be signed by an authorized representative of the bidding contractor and submitted with the bid package.
This certification is a compliance requirement under 41 CFR 60-1.8 for federally-assisted construction contracts and subcontracts exceeding $10,000. The document includes a signature block requiring the contractor to provide their legal name, authorized signatory name and title, business address, IRS Employer ID number, and date of submission. False statements in the certification are subject to penalties prescribed in 18 U.S.C. Section 1001. This certification must be completed and notarized as part of the overall bid submission requirements for all three fall protection packages or any individual package for which a contractor wishes to bid.

The Bidder agrees that (except where it has obtained identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors for specific time periods) it will obtain identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors prior to the award of subcontracts exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause, and that it will retain such Certifications in its files.
