About this file
This is a Nonsegregated Facilities Certification document issued by the Kenton County Airport Board for the 2026 Fall Protection Systems Installation project at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Kentucky. The certification applies to bidders on federally-assisted construction contracts exceeding $10,000 that are not exempt from the Equal Opportunity Clause. A pre-bid meeting and site visit are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:00 am at CVG Centre, Admin. Offices, 77 Comair Boulevard, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Questions must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026, with answers posted no later than Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Bids are due by Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm. The project consists of three bid packages: Bid Package 1 involves storm water treatment plant fall protection components and confined space equipment at the Sludge Holding Tank, Digesters, Clarifiers, and Splitter Box; Bid Package 2 requires fall protection railings, gates, roof markings, and access ladders for the T3 Parking Deck; and Bid Package 3 encompasses fall protection components and systems for the entire Concourse A Roof. All work must meet ANSI/ASSP Z359.6 standards as designed by LJB, Inc. Bidders may submit proposals for any or all three packages.
By submitting a bid, contractors must certify that they do not maintain or provide segregated facilities for employees and will not permit employees to perform services at locations where segregated facilities are maintained. Contractors must obtain identical certifications from all proposed subcontractors for subcontracts exceeding $10,000 that are not exempt from the Equal Opportunity Clause and retain such certifications in their files. Breach of this certification constitutes a violation of the Equal Opportunity Clause in any resulting contract. Segregated facilities are defined as any waiting rooms, work areas, restrooms, washrooms, restaurants, time clocks, locker rooms, transportation, and housing facilities separated by explicit directive or in fact based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
