PURPOSE:

This checklist assists in ensuring new programs and actions conducted and/or funded by GRC attain and maintain compliance with applicable Federal, State and local environmental laws and regulations. The earlier this form is utilized in the design and project initiating phases, the sooner adequate funding can be recognized for additional studies, regulatory permits , and alternatives guidance can be planned for when necessary. Completing this checklist will also assist in avoiding project delays later in the process and head off potential conflicts.

Exemptions: See page 2 for a list of actions that do not require this checklist to be filled out and submitted for review.
