Sequence of Operation
VAV Flow Control: The unit shall maintain zone set-points by controlling the airflow through one of the following:
1. Occupied:
a. When the zone temperature is 1 deg F (adj.) greater than the set-point(T-STAT-STPT), the zone damper shall modulate between the minimum occupied airflow (OCC-MIN-FLOW- STPT adj.) and the maximum cooling airflow (OCC-MAX-FLOW-STPT adj.) until the zone is satisfied.
b. When the zone temperature is between the plus or minus 1 deg F (adj) from the set-point, the zone damper shall maintain the minimum required zone ventilation (adj.).
c. When the zone temperature is 1 deg F (adj.) less than the set-point, the controller shall modulate open the reheat control valve to maintain a leaving air temperature of 95 deg F (adj.). On a continued fall in zone temperature, the zone damper shall modulate between the minimum airflow (adj.) and the maximum airflow while maintaining a leaving air temperature of (DA-TMP) 95 deg F (adj.) until the zone is satisfied.
2. Unoccupied:
a. When the zone is unoccupied the zone damper shall control to its minimum unoccupied airflow (adj.).
b. When the zone temperature is 1 deg F (adj.) greater than the setpoint, the zone damper shall modulate between the minimum unoccupied airflow (UNOCC-MIN-FLOW-STPT adj.)
and the maximum cooling airflow (UNOCC-MAX-FLOW-STPT adj.) until the zone is satisfied.
c. When the zone temperature is 1 deg F (adj.) less than the set-point, the controller shall modulate open the reheat control valve to maintain a leaving air temperature of 95 deg F (adj.). On a continued fall in zone temperature, the zone damper shall modulate between the minimum airflow (adj.) and the maximum airflow while maintaining a leaving air temperature of 95 deg F (adj.) until the zone is satisfied.
3. Discharge Air Temperature: The controller shall monitor the discharge air temperature.
