NOTE: The following questions and answers are provided for INFORMATION ONLY. The RFP remains unchanged unless it is amended in writing on a Standard Form 30.
18. Given the significant impact of Amendment 0006, specifically the addition of 3 CLINs and
Note #10 outlining requirements of UXO personnel, we kindly request NAVFAC’s consideration in extending the suspense date for the subject referenced solicitation. An extension of no less than 2 weeks would provide offerors, and their subcontractors, adequate time to prepare revised quotations. In turn, this will provide NAVFAC with the most accurate Price Proposals.
In addition, we respectfully note that offerors are working under exceptional time restrictions due to the RFP requirement for hardcopy proposal submissions and the current logistical challenges due to COVID and the holidays. Offerors that are located outside of Hawaii and are planning to ship their proposals via express carriers are being advised by the express carriers that packages need to be shipped for overnight delivery no later than close of business 9 December to ensure delivery to Hawaii ahead of the 15 December deadline.
ANSWER: The dates for receipt of proposals remains unchanged.
