GENERAL BID NOTES

a. All work required in accordance with the drawings and specifications must be included in the Contractor’s proposed price.

b. Evaluation will be made on the total sum of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, and the extended total under

Contract Line items 0002, through 0016. For CLINs 0001 through 0016, enter unit price and extended total in space provided. If there is a difference between a unit price and the extended total, the unit price will be held to be the intended bid and the total recomputed accordingly. If an Offeror provided a total but fails to enter a unit price, the total divided by the specified quantity will be held to be the intended unit price. All SubCLIN unit cost items are summed together with other SubCLINs under the primary CLIN to form the total cost for that CLIN. Award is expected to be made on CLIN 0001.

c. The Government reserves the unilateral right to award CLIN(s) 0002 through 0016 to the Contractor at the proposed price within 180 calendar days after the contract award. A firm fixed proposed price is required for all

d. Evaluation of Options (JUL 1990). In accordance with

FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options, evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the

Option(s).

e. The Government may reject an offer as nonresponsive if it is materially unbalanced as to prices for the basic requirement and the option quantities. An offer is unbalanced when it is based on prices significantly less than cost for some work and prices which are significantly overstated for other work.

f. If any of the CLIN(s) 0002 through 0016 are exercised, additional bonding and consent of surety is required.
