2.1.1 INVENTORY LISTS. The inventory lists are intended to identify the items of GFP expected to be placed in the custody of the Contractor for the term of the contract in support of the performance of its contracted responsibilities. The lists are materially accurate, though some items of necessity will change prior to turning over said assets to the Contractor
Specific inventories of all GFP, physically verified by the Government and Contractor, shall be formally turned over to the Contractor on or about the Contract Start Date (CSD) for a given Division / Functional
Area for which the Contractor shall sign for and accept into their custody. The inventories will reflect both the existence and number of these assets along with any other supporting documentation and will become the baseline inventory and the standard against which the Contractor is measured when the GFP is returned to the Government (See PWS paragraph 4.11.9.1). The COR will maintain the baseline inventory and is the only Government official authorized to make any changes to that inventory during the term of the contract.
NOTE: The Government will place GFF in the custody of the Contractor for the term of the contract.
