About this file

This document provides details for a federal contract opportunity to provide design-build construction services for Hurricane Florence recovery facilities at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed-price design-build contract valued between $100-250 million to complete five military construction projects including a Provost Marshall Office/Headquarters building, Motor Transportation/Communication Shop, two Fire Stations, a Range Operations Center, and an Academic Facility/Auditorium. The projects involve new construction and renovations totaling over 200,000 square feet of facilities and are required to be completed within 1,826 calendar days of award. The solicitation will utilize a two-phase evaluation of technical factors, past performance, and price, with the award based on best value. The deadline for responses is July 2020. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command is conducting the full and open competition solicitation available through the System for Award Management and Federal Business Opportunities website starting in October 2019.
