About this file
This document contains responses to bidder questions regarding a federal solicitation for regular overhaul and dry docking services for the USNS Comfort. The solicitation was issued by the Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command for work to be performed at an undisclosed shipyard. The responses provide clarification on technical requirements for equipment to be installed, including confirming fiber optic compatibility for flat panel displays, removing OEM technical representative attendance requirements for pipe and electrical installation, and identifying signal generator models. Additional revisions to equipment specifications are noted across several work items in the solicitation amendment.
