QUESTION:
The table referenced in paragraph 7.1 requests that the contractor bid each item individually, but shall not bid to accomplish all items. This conflicts with the J-3 Form as it only provides one line to be entered for the entire work item. Will MSC be providing an updated J-3 Form?
ANSWER:
Contractor to bid per 7.1 of WI. Updated J-3 will be provided via DoD Safe.

PARAGRAPH / SECTION NO: Paragraph 3.1.2 (A) TITLE: Hull Crack Repair IWO MPDE Exhaust
QUESTION:
WI identifies quantity of steering and reversing cylinders using information from reference 2.3. Will MSC be providing MSC Drawing No. 556-8612637, SRD Schematic Hydraulic System?
ANSWER:
WI is for contractor to assist Wartsila with repairs. Reference drawing is not needed; Wartsila will be onsite for guidance and directions for repair.

Is the contractor to include COVID-19 related costs, specifically for traveling sub-contractors in it’s initial pricing, or will that be handled via REA?
ANSWER:
COVID requirements for ROM and mitigation plan are covered under WI 90, para 7.3.2. KTR’s can estimate costs of sub travel in WI 90 and request a CCO for any extra.
