QUESTION: #70:
SPECIFICATION ITEM NO.:
PARAGRAPH / SECTION NO:
TITLE: EPF 04 ROH Request for Extension
QUESTION:
Austal USA, LLC (“Austal”) respectfully requests a two (2) week extension to the due date for the proposal, 16 March 2021 for reference (a). If granted, the new due date will be 30 March, 2021.
An additional two (2) weeks is necessary as Austal is working to acquire accurate pricing for all work items listed in the specification, in order to provide MSC with the most cost effective proposal. We believe MSC would benefit from allowing bidders additional time to receive current and accurate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
