TITLE: Dry Docking What amount of overhang would be acceptable and what is that resolution based on?
ANSWER:
Proposal received is UNSAT. They’d have to omit blocks 1-5 and 19-24, for a total of 11 blocks omitted, which is 46% of the block build.
Block loads would essentially double for the remaining blocks, thus overloading the ship’s frames that are over the remaining blocks.”

Belozona is not “required” for this work item. Specification states “or equivalent” epoxy system could be used.
Belzona, PPG, International, etc epoxy paint hve been used on the vessel. Any equivalent epoxy paint can be used as long as it is rated for sea water application.

Belzona is not “required” for this work item. Specification states “or equivalent” epoxy system could be used.
Belzona, PPG, International, etc epoxy paint have been used on the vessel. Any equivalent epoxy paint can be used as long as it is rated for aluminum hull and sea water application.

TITLE: TEPF CSI Flight Deck Tie Down Replacement Paragraph 7.1.1.1 States:
7.1.1.1 Remove by grinding, 132 Flight Deck Tie Down Cups. Cups are held in place by a top and bottom circumferential weld. Welds shall be ground down to fit line between cup and flight deck planking and then removed. Access to bottom weld is from the space below (Mission Bay) and is located approximately 6M up in the overhead. Great care shall be taken not to cut into the existing Flight Deck Planking Please provide References identified above. They were not provided.
Will the Customer allow the Contractor to use a Hole Saw to remove in lieu of grinding, providing that all fitup, welding, etc. are met?
