About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for repair support services for commercial common items utilized on the P-8A aircraft. The Navy seeks repair services for over 200 line items across several federal supply classes, with quantities estimated over a five-year period. Eligible offerors are invited to submit proposals by April 8, 2019 to perform repair services for components such as generators, indicators, and sensors. Proposals shall include the offeror's performance approach, past experience performing similar repairs for DOD aircraft, and participation of small businesses as subcontractors. Pricing shall be submitted for each requested repair using firm-fixed pricing according to the terms specified in the solicitation. The amendment increases the page limit for proposals and provides clarification on item quantities but does not otherwise alter the requirements.

39. QUESTION: Please increase the 50-page limit for Volume I to accommodate more than one-page for a table of contents.
ANSWER: Volume I’s page limit is hereby increased to 53 pages, to be used as Offerors’ see fit. Following the questions listed in this Amendment 0006, see the text which incorporates this change into Section L03 -3.2.4 – Page Limitation.
40. QUESTION: Can you please confirm that Amendment 0005 intends to change the BEQ information for Line Item A188 on page 3 to a BEQ of 3 vs. the current BEQ of 1? I understand that the NSN and everything else remains the same, but is the BEQ projection actually 3 now instead of 1?
ANSWER: Amendment 0005 does not change any BEQs for that item. They remain, as shown in the amendment: “Yr. 1- 0, Yr. 2- 0, Yr. 3- 1, Yr. 4- 0, Yr. 5- 0.”
The overall maximum quantity across the 5-year contract for that item, as shown in the amendment, remains 3. “Max 5 Year Total Repair Qty: 3.”
41. QUESTION: Is the 737 Boeing MCAS a part of the P8? Will the recent issue affect this opportunity? We recognize that they are different series of aircraft, but we just wanted to follow up to be sure.
ANSWER: The current MCAS events involve the 737 MAX aircraft; the P-8 is a derivative of the 737-800 Next Generation (NG) aircraft so is not affected.
The following change is hereby incorporated and made a part of solicitation N00383-18-R-012C:
