• Contractor notes each system requires 3 (V) (G) callouts throughout this specification as written… One for visual inspection, one for cleanliness and one for an op-test that equates more than 600 (V) (G) Callouts for this work item.

• Contractor notes there will not be enough time during this Period of Performance to complete all of the requirements for Work Item 512-11-030 as it will take well over 4 months just to perform the pre-cleaning and visual inspections, with (V) (G) callouts and reports.

Paragraph 3.7, states “Accomplish an operational test of the ventilation system(s) listed in 1.3 and located in 1.2 at systems normal operating pressure to ensure ventilation joint tightness. Allowable external leakage at each new and disturbed joint: None.

• Contractor notes the op-test on a vent cleaning project of this magnitude will be nearly impossible to finish within the Period of Performance as well, especially since most of the systems will not be operational until the end of the availability.

Contractor request the requirements of 3.2 through 3.2.1.1, and 3.7 through 3.9 be removed from the scope of work for Work Item 512-11-030.

QUESTION: Will an Amendment and/or an Errata be issued to remove the requirements of 3.2 through 3.2.1.1, and 3.7 through 3.9? GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:
