About this file
This document is a Government Responses to Industry Questions (Set #12) for a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) dated 4 November 2025, with solicitation number N0001925R0003. The document contains four industry questions and corresponding government responses related to a Navy contract involving aircraft maintenance, specifically concerning an aft airstair.
The key details include clarification on a 75 business day turnaround time (TAT) for removing, shipping, and returning an overhauled aft airstair, with the start date defined as the aircraft induction date and the end date when the airstair is returned to government inventory or reinstalled. The government indicates that while there is a 14 November 2025 due date in the Solicitation module, offerors are not required to submit any materials at this time. The document also reveals that the government has determined revisions to the RFP are appropriate after further review of their requirements.

Government Responses to Industry Questions N0001925R0003 Enclosure (1)
Industry Feedback Worksheet
1 21 Does the 75 working day TAT apply to the removal and replacement of the aft airstair on the aircraft during C-Check or the overhaul of the off unit?
The 75 business day TAT includes removal, shipping to the vendor, and return of the overhauled aft airstair to GP inventory.
2 21 Can the Navy please define the start and end date of the 75 working days that will be measured for the indicated TAT?
The start date is the aircraft induction date and the end date is when the airstair is either returned to the Government's spares inventory or installed on the aircraft.
Will the Government please clarify whether all offerors are required to resubmit their previous proposals, based on the current guidance and changes to the PWS as it is not clear what is required with the 14 November 2025 due date?
The Solicitation module in PIEE requires the proposal submission date to be in the future.
The Government is not requiring Offerors to submit any material at this time.
Will the Government please clarify the reasoning behind the release of amendments post-submission?
After further review of the Government's requirement, the Government determined revisions to the RFP are appropriate.
