About this file

This is a pricing sheet and equipment list for a landscape and mowing services contract issued by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Southwest Region/Kalamazoo Transportation Service Center, for the Mottville Bridge and Mottville Property located on US-12, one-quarter mile west of M-103 in St. Joseph County. The contract requires once-weekly landscape maintenance services including mowing, string trimming, blowing grass cuttings from parking lots, and removal and disposal of debris and litter on approximately 30 acres annually, as well as spring cleanup of leaves, sticks, and debris on approximately 1 acre. The contract base term is two years with a start date of April 1, 2026, and an end date of March 31, 2028, with no extension options. The primary contact is Contract Administrator ReChelle Kendrick at 517-335-5905, with program management by Mike Streeter at 269-217-7785 and invoicing directed to Jennifer Simmons.

Bidders must complete the pricing sheet by entering unit prices for each maintenance occasion, with the spreadsheet automatically calculating one-year and two-year costs. Contractors must provide reliable commercial equipment consisting of mowers, string trimmers, and blowers, with all equipment required to be owned and available at contract start; equipment failure is not an acceptable reason for schedule deviation, and contractors are responsible for any property damage incurred during performance. The submission requires completion of all spreadsheet tabs, identification of the contractor entity and SIGMA VSS ID, bidder's representative contact information, and a detailed equipment list with make, model, manufacturer, and approximate age of all equipment to be utilized.
