The university requires 38 commercial-grade, front-load, high-efficiency, Energy Star-rated washing machines and 38 matching dryers to be installed across seven Wildcat Commons dorm buildings and Ohio Hall basement. The equipment must include technology allowing residents to check machine availability, monitor time remaining, and receive completion alerts via computer, tablet, or smartphone. The contract is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term with four optional one-year renewal periods. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidders' conferences are detailed in this document.

The document does not specify pricing terms, bid amounts, or funding sources. FVSU is transitioning from a card-based vending system to a full-service operation, indicating a change in the current operational environment. The successful offeror must furnish, install, and maintain all equipment at its own expense while bearing responsibility for theft losses, equipment damage, and repairs to university property resulting from installation or servicing. The offeror must provide maintenance and service within one business day of reported problems and coordinate with the Office of Residential Life through semi-annual meetings. All equipment must meet ADA compliance, UL listing, and industry safety standards. Price increase requests must be submitted 60 days before contract anniversary dates and require Georgia State Purchasing Department approval if increases exceed 10 percent.
