About this file
These documents are Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) for a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) power systems contract managed by the NAS Power Services Group. The DIDs outline specific documentation requirements for five key deliverable types: Program Plan, Program Management Report, Site Survey Report, Design Documents, and Site Preparation and Installation Documents.
Each Data Item Description provides detailed instructions for document format, content, and submission standards. Common requirements include: hard copy submissions on 8.5" x 11" paper, soft copy in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Project), drawing submissions in AutoCAD or MicroStation formats, and specific content guidelines. The documents cover various aspects of power systems work, including organizational charts, project status reporting, site investigations, engineering designs, equipment installation, and associated technical analyses. The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will provide specific guidance on document versions and submission methods, with the government reserving the right to update software and formatting requirements as enterprise services evolve.
