About this file
This is a Memo to Program from the Arizona Department of Health Services, Planning & Operations division, regarding the results of Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. BPM007426 for Radiation Equipment Maintenance, Repair, and Calibration services. The solicitation closed on April 2, 2026, with 119 registered vendors invited to participate. The contract requires suppliers to perform on-site and off-site maintenance, repair, and calibration services for radiation detection equipment at 4814 South 40th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85048, with BRC staff accompanying supplier personnel during all on-site work. Of the vendors contacted, only three submitted bids, with 116 vendors not submitting quotes and zero submitting "No Bid" responses.
The procurement evaluation determined that Ludlum Measurements, Inc. submitted a responsive bid and is recommended for partial award based on the line items for which they provided pricing. Two other bidders—Mirion Technologies Canberra, Inc. and Gamma Products, Inc.—were deemed non-responsive because they did not provide pricing as requested in the solicitation, instead submitting only annual total pricing without clear line-item breakdowns. The remaining line items for which no responsive bids were received will be rebid separately. The memorandum notes that all personnel involved in the evaluation process are cautioned against discussing the bid information or IFB details with anyone outside the decision-making staff, and no further action will be taken pending receipt of written determination from the recipient.
