About this file
This is a solicitation addendum issued by Austin Financial Services - Central Procurement for the City of Austin, Texas, regarding IFB 7800 MAS1007 for OEM Parts and Repairs for Chevy Light and Medium Duty vehicles. The addendum extends the original solicitation due date from June 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM to July 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM. A nonmandatory pre-offer meeting was scheduled for June 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM CT via Microsoft Teams, with questions due by June 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM CT. The contract involves providing OEM parts and repair services for Chevrolet light- and medium-duty vehicles on an as-needed basis, with the contract commencing upon execution and continuing indefinitely until obligations are performed, with optional extension periods at the City's sole discretion. Upon expiration, contractors must hold over for up to 180 calendar days to allow the City time to re-solicit or complete deliverables.
Bidders must be manufacturer-authorized Chevrolet parts dealers operating a full-time, manufacturer-authorized warranty repair facility within 60 miles of the Texas State Capitol and accessible via email and telephone. Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of three consecutive years of experience providing Chevrolet parts and repair services within the last five years to municipalities or similar organizations, employ a minimum of two service technicians with proof of certifications, and submit authorization documentation through an Authorized Distributor Certificate, dealer agreement, or manufacturer letter. Pricing is fixed or unit price, remaining firm for the first 12 months; after the initial 12 months, either party may request price adjustments not exceeding Consumer Price Index changes. The City will evaluate bids on best value, applying a 5% discount for bids up to $500,000 and a 3% discount for bids between $500,000 and $50 million for both local and small businesses. Compliance with the City's Living Wage Program and Wage Theft Ordinance is required, and contractors must maintain specified insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, and Property or Garage Keepers Insurance. All offers must be submitted electronically through eResponse in Austin Finance Online, and failure to acknowledge this addendum may constitute grounds for rejection.
