About this file
This is Solicitation Addendum No. 2 issued by the City of Austin's Central Procurement Office for IFB 7800 MAS1006, which seeks aftermarket parts for medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment on an as-needed basis. The addendum, dated August 3, 2026, modifies the original solicitation by replacing the price sheet with Price Sheet V2 (July 22, 2026) and replacing the entire Bid Package Document, with notable removal of the Living Wage requirement from the Terms and Conditions section. Bids were due August 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CT. The contract will serve Austin Fleet Mobility Services with optional availability to other City departments and includes fixed unit pricing for the first 12 calendar months with potential price adjustments on anniversary dates limited to changes in the Producer Price Index. The contract commences upon execution and continues until all obligations are performed, with the City retaining extension options and the ability to hold over for up to 180 calendar days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The addendum clarifies critical bidding requirements through a questions and answers section, establishing that vendors must bid on exact part numbers listed on the price sheet rather than alternative brands or equivalents, that stock parts ordered before 10:00 a.m. must be delivered by 2:00 p.m. the next working day (or within two working days if ordered after 10:00 a.m.), non-stock parts must be delivered within three working days, and all items must be brand new rather than remanufactured with core charges. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of invoice receipt or deliverable acceptance, whichever is later. The City applies local and small business discounts of up to 5% for bids up to $500,000 and 3% for bids between $500,000 and $50 million, with additional discounts for small business subcontractors representing 5% or more of total bid value. Offerors must return an acknowledged copy of the addendum with their bid response, and failure to do so may constitute grounds for rejection.
