About this file

This is a Solicitation Addendum No. 1 issued by the City of Austin Financial Services - Central Procurement for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 7800 MAS1006 on July 22, 2026, regarding the procurement of aftermarket parts for medium and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The addendum incorporates significant changes to the original solicitation, including replacement of the price sheet with Price Sheet V2 (July 22, 2026) and complete revision of the Bid Package Document, particularly the removal of the Living Wage requirement from the Terms and Conditions section. The solicitation seeks indefinite quantities of aftermarket parts with fixed unit pricing for the first 12 calendar months, with bids due August 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CT. The contract will be utilized by Austin Fleet Mobility Services with the option for other City departments to participate, and the term extends until all obligations are performed with potential extension options available to the City.

The addendum clarifies critical bidding requirements through responses to four vendor questions, establishing that bidders must provide pricing on exact part numbers listed on the price sheet rather than alternative brands or equivalents, and that all bid items must be brand new rather than remanufactured with core charges. Delivery requirements are specified based on order type: stock parts ordered before 10:00 a.m. must be delivered by 2:00 p.m. the next working day, stock parts ordered after 10:00 a.m. within two working days, and non-stock parts within three working days. Offerors are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning one signed copy with their bid response prior to the solicitation closing date, with failure to do so potentially constituting grounds for bid rejection.
