PRESOLICITATION NOTICE:
SOLICITATION NO. HSBP1013R0017 – CTIMR WORK AREA 1
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Facilities, Financial, Acquisition and Contracting Branch, intends to issue a solicitation for operations and maintenance repair services in support of the Comprehensive Tactical Infrastructure Maintenance and Repair (CTIMR) Program in an area designated as Work Area 1, along San Diego and El Centro California border patrol sectors of the Southwest Border of the United States.
The scope of work includes performing a wide variety of Maintenance and Repair (M&R) activities for different types of Tactical Infrastructure (TI) dispersed along Work Area 1, including maintaining and repairing fences and gates; roads and bridges; drainage and grate systems; lighting and electrical systems; and performing vegetation control and debris removal. These services directly support CBP’s ability to consistently slow, delay, and act as persistent impedance to illicit cross-border activity. They also help increase the level of operational control by the Border Patrol between the Land Ports of Entry (LPOEs) and enables agents to perform their mission more efficiently while increasing the Sectors’ level of effective control based upon the current-day threat.
