About this file
The file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Request for Proposal. The document contains technical clarification questions from potential bidders regarding the Building 1106 Conference Center HVAC Task Order at Hanscom Air Force Base, primarily focused on scope of work details, equipment inventory, operational sequences, and technical specifications.
Key questions addressed include requests for complete inventory lists of HVAC equipment, operational sequences for equipment, steam and water flow rates for sizing control valves, and clarification on fiber optic cabling installation requirements. The document also includes a confirmation about consent requirements for teaming partners and guidance on submitting key personnel resumes. These questions suggest potential bidders needed additional technical information to accurately prepare their proposals for the competitive small business set-aside contract, which has an anticipated contract ceiling of $71.8 million and a 5-year ordering period starting September 2025.
