About this file
This is the Buy American Certificate provision (FAR 52.225-2, Oct 2022) that requires offerors to certify their end products as domestic or foreign. The provision requires offerors to certify that each end product is domestic except those specifically listed as foreign, and that domestic end products listed contain critical components. For foreign end products manufactured in the US that don't consist mainly of iron/steel, offerors must indicate if they exceed 55% domestic content (except for COTS items).
The certificate includes sections for offerors to list: foreign end products with their country of origin and domestic content status; domestic end products containing critical components; and requires separate listing of line item numbers for domestic products with critical components. The government evaluates offers according to FAR Part 25 policies and procedures. This appears to be a standard provision template rather than a completed certificate with specific product information.
