About this file
The document is a Buy American Certificate (FAR 52.225-2), a standardized form for certifying the origin and domestic content of products in a federal solicitation. This specific certificate is part of a solicitation (36C24226B0028_1) by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration for a project involving replacement of SCI Steam Coils (Project # 528A7-23-103).
The certificate requires offerors to declare the origin of end products, specifically identifying domestic and foreign end products, and their domestic content percentage. Vendors must list line items for domestic end products, particularly those containing critical components, and indicate the country of origin for foreign end products. The government will evaluate offers according to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 25 policies, which emphasize domestic manufacturing and content requirements.
