Cashier Guide
Main Screen
The Main Screen allows the user to read pertinent information.
• Touch the floating logo; the Main Screen will display
• Read the messages displayed on the screen
• Enter employee number and press OK to log-in

Clock-In Screen
Clock-In Screen allows the user to select job code and clock into the system
• Highlight the appropriate job code
• Touch Clock-In Note: If a message screen appears, read the message carefully. Then, touch inside box to clear.

Order Entry Screen
Submenu Buttons in the center of the screen allows the cashier to move between the different menus. There are fixed menus like Beverages, Desserts, etc. and there are rotating menus like Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The Flight Kitchen Submenu Buttons consist of Flight Menu, Ground Menu, Exp Flt Menu, etc.
- takes the user to the table screen (used to checkout and access the function screen)
Clear Button clears all items not yet ordered
• Select Clear
• A message prompts: “Are you sure..”
• Select OK or Cancel (Returns to order entry screen)
Split Check and Split Seat Buttons are currently not used

Done Button logs the user out
Not Used is of course, not used
Open Drawer allows the user to open the drawer to make change
Fast Cash is used if the customer is paying cash; the 33% surcharge is automatically added
• Touch food items
• Touch Fast Cash and the following screen appears

Amount Paid Screen
• Enter amount customer gives pays and touch OK
• Change due is displayed (if any)
• Touch OK (returns to Order Entry Screen)

Close Button takes the cashier to the Payment Screen. Here the check can be closed using cash and surcharge payments or closed to SIK.
Next Seat and Transfer are currently not used
PLU Button adds an item to the check by using the Price LookUp Number of the item
Misc Button is used when it is absolutely impossible to locate the item on the screen
Item Lookup Button is used in conjunction with the PLU Button and contains the PLU number of every item

Quantity Button allows a cashier to order the same item numerous times, without having to touch the button repeatedly.
• Highlight the menu item on the check
• Select Quantity button
• Enter the quantity on the keypad
• Select OK
Note: If an item is not highlighted, the quantity button will quantify the last item ordered.
Repeat Button is useful when an item is ordered several times.
• Highlight the menu item on the check
• Select the “repeat” button as many times as needed
Note: If an item is not highlighted, the Repeat button will repeat the last item ordered.
Modify Button is currently not used
Delete Button is used to delete any unordered items.
• Highlight unwanted item
• Select delete button
• Repeat as necessary Note: If an item is not highlighted, the Delete button removes the last item selected.

Payment/Close Screen
The Payment Screen allows the user to close a check by cash or by applying payment towards SIK. All voided checks must be retained and placed in the Cashier’s cash drawer.
Return Button returns the user to the Order Entry Screen. It allows the cashier to order more items.
Print Button prints a copy of the check.
Print All Button prints a copy of all open seats on a check.
Exit Button exits/logs the user out of the system. The floating logo appears and the user must login again.
Payment and Promo Button are currently not used.

Delete Button is used by a manager to delete a payment type on an open check.
Highlight the payment on the check and select delete. Apply the correct payment type.
Adjust Button is used by a manager to adjust a payment type on an open check.
Highlight the payment on the check and select adjust. Enter the correct payment type.
Customer Button closes the customer check to SIK when cashier does the following:
• After touching Close Button on the Order Entry Screen
• Touch Customer Button
• The Customer Lookup Screen appears (see next page)

• Swipe Military ID Card (Note: Swipe card only 1 time)
• If Invalid SIK screen appears, have customer complete form
• Select OK on the screen
• If ID card is damaged and 1st swipe does not take
• Wait about 9 seconds and swipe ID card again
• If swipe still does not work, enter customer SSN using the keypad

Add/Remove Surcharge Button is setup to add 33% surcharge to the check. This button toggles on and off meaning a surcharge can be added and removed with the same button.
Note: Surcharge is automatically added to the check when the Fast Cash Button is used.
Tax Exempt Button is not currently used.

Checkout/Function Screen
The Checkout/Function Screen is accessed by touching this button on the Order Entry Screen. This screen also ahas the Check Out and Functions buttons.
Exit Button appears in red. This button will exit and log the user out of the system
New Order Button takes the user to the Order Entry Screen
Open Drawer Button opens the cash drawer
Sales Button allows the user to see their sales
Refund and Get Check Buttons are currently not used
Functions Button takes the user to the Funtions Screen which contains the following (when given access):

Checkout/Function Screen
Check Out- After all open checks have been transferred or closed
Note: A Manager or Lead Server is needed to complete the checkout
• Select the Open Drawer button
• Remove cash drawer and all receipts. Proceed with cash out.
With a Manager present, select the Check Out button The following screen will appear:

• Cashier must enter amount of Declared Cash after selecting the Check Out Button
• Then Select OK
• Touch the Clock Out Button

Clock Out Screen
Once the employee’s shift has ended and the Check Out has been run, the employee must clock out of the system.
Clock Out Button - after performing the Check Out and any other post-shift duties, select Clock Out
This logs and clocks the user out of the system.
