1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Contracting Officer (CO) may require Associate Contractor Agreements (ACA) when contractors working on separate Government contracts must cooperate, share resources or otherwise jointly participate in working on contracts or projects. The Government anticipates the SEWS II contract will require the use of ACAs at various times during execution for the contractor to satisfy the SEWS’ requirements successfully.
2.0 ASSOCIATE CONTRACTOR AGREEMENTS
2.1 As necessary, the contractor shall enter into ACAs for any portion of the SEWS II contract requiring joint participation in accomplishing the Government’s requirements.
In establishing ACAs, the contractor shall include the basis for sharing information, data, technical knowledge, expertise and/or resources essential to the integration of the Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division’s missile warning/missile defense program efforts to foster the optimum degree of cooperation to meet the terms of the contract. Table 1 lists the associate contractors for the SEWS II contract.
