k. Other – item 13 SIPRNET access is required: “The government will provide classified network access to include e-mail and web browser. Contractors will be held accountable for actions they initiate on the network and will conduct business IAW USAF, ACC, and local base instructions and policies. Sponsoring government agency will provide Information Assurance training prior to contractor access to network services”.
Item 13 when STE access: STE access is required for contract performance.
Access will be controlled by the sponsoring agency. Contractor will follow requirements IAW AFI 33-201 V9.
Item 11 Responses Continued:
a. Have access to classified information only at another contractor’s facility or a government activity. This eliminates the contractor from having classified information pertaining to this contract at their cleared contractor facility. The contractor will only be allowed to access classified information in performance of this contract at government installations or another contractor facility.
c. Receive and generate classified material. This means the contractor is expected to receive and generate classified information at their cleared facility and will require detailed security classification guidance for performance of the contract.
Note: Safeguarding capability at this facility is required, therefore mark item 1b as appropriate for the level of storage required.
f. Have access to U.S. classified information outside the U.S. Puerto Rico, U.S.
Possessions and Trust territories: This item is not marked “yes” when access to classified information is required for oversees TDY requirements only. Note: A copy of the DD Form 254 must be provided to the U.S. Air Force servicing security activity responsible for oversees inspections

If 11a is marked “yes” the following statement must be annotated in Item 13:
Contract performance is restricted to the locations identified in item 8a and attachment 1.
The highest level of security clearance required for contract performance is Secret. Using activities will provide security classification guidance for performance of this contract.
The government will oversee the handling and storage of classified information in support of this contract. The government will provide storage capability for all classified material required for this contract. All classified information shall be returned to the government upon termination of the contract.

Visitor Groups will safeguard all collateral classified information IAW DoD 5200.1-R, Information Security Program; AFI 31-401, Information Security Program Management;
AFI 31-601, Industrial Security Program Management, and other directives deemed necessary by the servicing Information Protection office. Prior approval of the contracting activity is required for subcontracting.
