About this file

This sources sought notice provides information about a potential requirement for Installation Support Services at three remote geographically separated locations: Eareckson Air Station in Shemya, Alaska; Wake Island Airfield in Wake Island, US Territory; and King Salmon Airport in King Salmon, Alaska.

The services required include airport operations such as airfield management, weather observations, and aircraft ground servicing. Facility support services are also needed such as operating utilities, vehicles, equipment, and buildings. Additional requirements include security, fire protection, environmental management, snow removal, logistics support, food services, and third party contractor support. The current contract awarded in 2012 is set to expire in September 2020.

The government is seeking input from industry on acquisition approaches. Responses to the sources sought notice should include a capabilities statement demonstrating experience in areas like airport operations, facilities management, and remote location services. Responses are due to two points of contact by the specified date. The information collected will help determine acquisition strategy options such as whether to conduct a small business set-aside.
