About this file
This document contains results from foam testing conducted at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Foam testing was performed on eight separate aircraft hangar bays protected by Jet-X foam generators. Tests measured refractive index, pressure, flow rate and pattern for each hangar bay. Refractive index readings ranged from 1.3343 to 1.3344, within specifications. The tests were observed by representatives from Ansul and the Air Force to verify system operation and foam concentration levels.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces for radiant bay heating. No further details are provided on required products or services, response dates, or other salient information.
