SUBJECT: CAF ADAIR (Solicitation No. FA4890-17-R-0007) - Notice to Industry
1. The purpose of this notice is to inform CAF ADAIR interested parties about changes to the acquisition timelines, requirements, and up-incoming training session.
2. The development of the acquisition strategy for CAF ADAIR is on hold as the Government continues to work through requirements definition and funding constraints. As of now, the
Government projects approximately a 4-month schedule slip. The estimated acquisition timeline is revised as follows:
Issue Final RFP: 27 April 2018
Contract Award: 14 May 2019
Contract Start: 3 June 2019
3. The Government intends to include a SECRET addendum to the Unclassified RFP. If your company does not currently possess a SECRET facility clearance, please submit a response that includes your company’s plans to obtain a SECRET facility clearance and identifies the personnel within your company holding a U.S. Government security clearance (including clearance levels).
4. The Government will provide further updates and information as current issues are resolved.
In the interim, the Government is posting the draft Appendix I, attributes with effects-based information updates, and is particularly interested in your input.
5. HQ ACC AMIC will be hosting a training event for all Industry partners on Wednesday and
Thursday, 15-16 November 2017. The topics of interest are the Air Force Airworthiness process, and Spectrum Management and Security Issues (Advanced Programs/Technology Transfers).
This training is designed to educate and assist potential offerors in developing sound proposals for meeting the Air Force's requirements in these areas. All training materials used will be posted to FBO after the event.

Due to space limitations, attendance is limited to 4 individuals per company. Please submit your request to attend the training sessions via email to the CAF ADAIR inbox
(ACCAMIC.DRX.AdversaryAir@us.af.mil) no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on Friday, 3 November
2017. Please use the title “[Company Name] – CAF ADAIR Training Event Attendees” in the email subject line. In addition, please include the following information in your e-mail:
- Name and address of company (include main telephone number)
- Name of each individual attending, his or her contact number, and email address
- If you do not have current base access, provide the attendee’s social security number(s) (per
10 U.S.C. 8013) to gain base access
6. Please submit all other inputs and responses via email to the CAF ADAIR inbox
