About this file

The SABER Design Intent Drawing Set is a comprehensive architectural and engineering document that provides detailed design drawing requirements for projects at Nellis Air Force Base. The document outlines two levels of design submission (Level 1 and Level 2) with specific drawing requirements across multiple disciplines, including civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and telecommunications systems.

For each discipline, the document specifies the required drawing components, such as cover sheets, floor plans, notes, symbols, abbreviations, schedules, equipment details, and system layouts. The drawings must progressively increase in detail from Level 1 to Level 2, with Level 2 requiring more comprehensive documentation including single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, utility metering, grounding plans, and detailed route specifications for underground cables and communication infrastructure. The document is specifically for the SABER Contract and focuses on standardizing design intent drawings for construction projects at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada.
